Some years ago I bought a pair of brown sneakers at Coach, they were so
comfortable that two weeks later I went back to the store and I bought another
pair in black.
I use them over and over for about 6 years until I went to visit my
daughter and she took a look at them and thrown them out. I
complained that they were so comfortable and they still did not look that bad, nevertheless, she thrown them out.
Obviously my daughter and I went back to the Coach store to buy another
pair, however they did not have them anymore. I did not like the ones they had
now because you could really see the C’s, but they did have a pair in grey that
the C’s were not so obvious, so I bought them.
After a few days I notice that they did not have the support that my
previous shoes did. Within 4 weeks I bought inserts because by then they lost
most of the cushioning and within three months they had a hole on the back by
the talon.
I know by now you are asking yourself why I did not return them. Simple,
I was not in the country any longer.
I replace them with a pair of ECCO, so far they still doing well, but I
have not use them that much because I bought a pair of boots at Decathlon
(sporting goods store) and they were not that expensive ($95) and they are just
great. I can walk in them for hours at a time and my feet and legs feel great. I have been using them
every day until couple weeks ago when I came to Spain and now I am wearing my
Havaianas (flip flops) every day.
While in London I bought a T-shirt in All Saints, I used it 3 times and
it started to get little holes in the front of it. When I took it back to the
store I was told that it has been happening a lot and they gave me my money
back.
My point is that when I buy something in a store that it’s supposed to
be good and pay good money for the merchandise, I expect the quality to be
there. I can understand when you buy something in a cheap store and it falls
apart, well, you get what you pay. But I am talking expensive stores, where the
quality should match the price.
I am very disappointed with Coach and as far as it goes
they lost a customer. Maybe I might try All Saints again, will see…
